To play a pivotal role in addressing the SDGs issues,

we are undertaking a broad array of initiatives aimed at

promoting social justice and protecting the global environment

through our business activities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted at the United Nations Summit, represent a global commitment to enhancing quality of life, protecting the environment, and achieving social justice worldwide.

These goals encompass reducing poverty, expanding access to education, ensuring clean water and sanitation, combating climate change, and fostering peaceful and just societies.

We are dedicated to addressing climate change by promoting renewable energy and reducing CO2 emissions. Additionally, we strive to minimize the environmental impact of our product development and production processes.


 

Carbon Neutral Initiatives

Our goal is to decrease greenhouse gas emissions by 46% by 2030.

 

 

 

In 2023, we installed solar panels at our Ibaraki factory to initiate clean energy generation. With an estimated capacity of about 66.75 kW, we anticipate generating approximately 83,871 kWh annually. This initiative is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by around 32 metric tons of CO₂ per year.

Environmental protection and Sustainable climate solutions

One of our objectives is to advocate for the safeguarding of the global environment and the implementation of climate change initiatives. By pursuing goals such as sustainable energy utilization and biodiversity conservation, we strive to safeguard the Earth's ecosystem and alleviate the impacts of global warming.

We implement energy-saving settings on office equipment such as computers and printers to reduce power consumption during idle periods.

 

 Enhancing the efficiency of our air conditioning systems 

To enhance the efficiency of our air conditioning and heating systems, we focus on implementing appropriate temperature settings, utilizing timer functions, and improving insulation.

 

  Utilization of natural light  

We aim to minimize the use of artificial lighting by optimizing layouts and incorporating ample windows to harness natural light.

 

  Energy-efficient building materials 

We use highly insulated materials for windows, walls, and roofs to stabilize indoor temperatures and reduce energy consumption.

 

 Employee awareness-raising initiatives 

We conduct initiatives to raise employee awareness about the importance of energy conservation and the impact of their actions, aiming to prevent energy wastage.

In response to serious environmental issues such as global warming and increasing waste, efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of businesses have become crucial.

In Ibaraki Prefecture, the "Ibaraki Eco Business Site Registration System" is operated as a more accessible environmental management system. The goal is to introduce registered businesses to the community, fostering a culture of environmental consciousness and aiming for a society with minimal environmental impact.

We aim to balance economic growth with environmental protection and social equity. By fostering sustainable economic growth and promoting efficient resource utilization and the adoption of renewable energy, we strive to create a sustainable future.

 

 

We thoroughly evaluate energy consumption and emissions throughout the manufacturing process, actively working to reduce CO2 emissions by implementing energy-saving technologies and renewable energy solutions. Additionally, we assess the CO2 emissions across the entire lifecycle of our products, conducting design modifications and optimizing production processes to minimize carbon emissions.

 

We are developing predictive maintenance system using AI to minimize unexpected downtime. By monitoring equipment conditions in real-time and detecting abnormalities beforehand, we aim to provide a safe working environment.

This approach reduces maintenance burden, enhances productivity, and decreases energy waste, thus mitigating environmental impact.

Through the combined efforts of human expertise and technology, we are committed to realizing a sustainable future.

 

We are actively engaged in improving the factory environment, focusing on refining work methods and ensuring a safe working environment to provide employees with a reassuring workplace.

We are reviewing work procedures and adopting efficient and safe methods.

Additionally, we prioritize regular safety education and maintaining appropriate working conditions to ensure employee safety. We believe that a safe work environment not only protects the health and safety of employees but also enhances productivity.

Furthermore, we are committed to energy efficiency by transitioning factory lighting to LED. This initiative helps reduce energy consumption and alleviate the burden on the Earth's environment.
